LIVE AND LET DIE - Dinner Party

7pm

The Columns Hotel, 3811 St Charles Ave, Garden District
The night’s theme is the 1973 Bond movie, Live and Let Die, which was filmed in New Orleans and perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the early 70s.

There are spies, tarot readers, voodoo priests, drug kingpins, and the fashion is very distinct: bell bottoms, big collar shirts, miniskirts, maxi dresses, hippie outfits etc.
Watch the movie for inspiration!

SATURDAY OCTOBER 12th

ELVIS: RESURRECTION - The Party

9pm

Toulouse Theater, 615 Toulouse St.
The main party takes place at this historic two-story cabaret theater and live music venue.
They think they will be hosting this year’s global annual convention of Elvis tribute artists, so expect crowds outside the theater, waiting to see the very best of Elvis impersonators.
Dress code mandatory—you can source your own costume or pick up one of the jumpsuits we provide between noon and 2pm on Saturday at Toulouse Theater. Other than Elvis, think Ann-Margret, Priscilla etc.
Live acts + DJs until late.

FAQ

I have some fun friends and want to bring them along. Can I?

Yes, but please include them on the rsvp, indicating their full names if possible.

 Where should I stay?

New Orleans has thousands of hotels, for all tastes and budgets. We recommend you stay close to the French Quarter as two of the three events will take place there. Some popular choices: Maison de Metier, Barnett, Peter and Paul, Ritz Carlton, Monteleone, Celestine, Virgin.

Can I decide to come last minute? Do I need to inform you if my plans change and can no longer come or need to skip some of the events?

Please inform us of any change of plans, either through the RSVP section or a direct message.

While I am in New Orleans, if I get lost or have a question related to one of the events, who do I contact?

Lisa Carbonari, the local event producer, can be reached at mailto:lisa@hallowedgroundproductions.com or (504) 222-2562. You can also reach out to her associate Steven (318) 447-8640.

Do you have any recommendation for things to do while in New Orleans, outside of the events?
